Ernest Almond is our founding pastor. His passion is to see people reached with the love of God so they may experience authentic and enduring relationships with Him and others. He uses his experiences in hip-hop, mentoring, and fitness to relate to people across various walks of life. He holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University. In addition to his ministry duties, he is a public school educator and author.
Dr. Erin Almond oversees the administrative systems of our church. She holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of Georgia, and Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her ministry duties, she has a passion for helping disadvantaged students make the most of their educational opportunities.
Pastor Ernest and Dr. Erin have been married since 2012 and have three children, Samiyah, Ethan, and Elisha.
